Transfergratis offers money transfers to 16 African countries, including: Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Togo, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Benin, Ghana, Gabon, Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, Algeria, Morocco, Egypt, South Africa, and Gambia.
What currencies are supported?
We primarily operate in Canadian Dollars (CAD) for sending funds, which are converted into various African currencies at competitive, real-time exchange rates. Supported currencies include the South African Rand (ZAR), FCFA (XAF/XOF), Algerian and Tunisian Dinars (DZD/TND), Egyptian Pound (EGP), Ethiopian Birr (ETB), Ghanaian Cedi (GHS), Moroccan Dirham (MAD), and Kenyan Shilling (KES), among others. What is the minimum transfer amount?
In addition to the minimum, the maximum amount you can send is $5,000 per transaction for mobile deposits and $15,000 per transaction for bank deposits, subject to your bank's daily limit.
