SEO specialist
Position Overview: An SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing strategies to improve the visibility and ranking of websites on search engines like Google, Bing, and Yahoo. The role involves both technical SEO tasks and content strategy development, ensuring that online content is optimized for search engines while also enhancing user experience. Key Responsibilities: Keyword Research & Strategy Development: Conduct thorough keyword research to identify opportunities for driving organic traffic. Develop and execute an SEO strategy that aligns with business objectives. On-Page SEO Optimization: Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, and internal linking to improve search engine rankings. Ensure content is optimized for relevant keywords and follows best practices for readability and engagement. Technical SEO: Identify and resolve technical SEO issues such as crawl errors, broken links, and site speed optimization. Implement schema markup, XML sitemaps, and structured data to enhance the search engine crawling process. Content Strategy: Collaborate with content creators to produce SEO-friendly content that drives traffic and engagement. Ensure that all content is optimized for search engines while maintaining a strong user experience. Link Building: Develop and execute off-page SEO strategies, including link-building campaigns and outreach to acquire high-quality backlinks. Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO software (e.g., SEMrush, Moz). Provide regular reports on SEO performance, rankings, traffic, and conversion rates. Staying Updated: Keep abreast of SEO trends, search engine algorithm updates, and emerging best practices. Competitor Analysis: Analyze competitors' SEO strategies to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for growth. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field. Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role. Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz). Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors. Ability to analyze data and provide evidence-based recommendations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in both French and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages. Preferred Skills: Experience with HTML/CSS and web development. Knowledge of social media optimization and content marketing strategies. Familiarity with Google Ads and PPC advertising.
